Romania: State owned electricity producer Hidroelectrica sells five times less energy than planned, SEE Energy News
Romanian state owned electricity producer Hidroelectrica, has sold energy in the amount of 13.5 million RON, or 3 milion euros to the local energy exchange OPCOM, during the bids organized on March 11th and 12th, which is bellow the targeted amount of 15 million euros .
Hidroelectrica planned to sell more than 441,000 MWh of energy, but it sold only 87,600 MWh at a cost ranging between 34 and 35 milion euros.
