MOL Romania, the local subsidiary of the Hungarian oil group MOL, marks turnover growth due to higher sales volume in the amount of approximately 979 million euros in 2013, which is 5.1 percent more than in the previous year when it stood at 931 million euros.
Last year, MOL Romania achieved a total sales volume of 503.000 tons, which is 7 percent higher than the 469.000 tones in 2012, shows the official data of the company. Sales of diesel fuel raised to 8 percent this year, to 365.000 tones. Mol Romania has sold a total of 133.000 tons of gasoline, which is an increase of 6 percent compared to the previous year.
“We are monitoring average market sales in the past few years; we has announced the opening of eight new gas stations, and from the beginning of the year we have opened 4 more.
