Serbian state-owned power utility EPS has launched a tender for the preparation of project- technical documentation for the construction of a 350 MW unit at coal-fired thermal power plant Kostolac.
According to tender documentation, the project for the construction of a new unit will be realized in 14 phases. It includes the design of the unit itself as well as other parts which pertain to the disposal and storage of ash, traffic routes and a cooling system using the water from the Danube. The unit will be highly-efficient, and the network output is expected to be 308 MW.
The tender is open until 22 November.
