Serbian state-owned power utility EPS said that, due to problems with the supply of coal caused by heavy snowfall during the day, it was forced to shut down production of almost all coal-fired units of thermal power plant Nikola Tesla A (TENT A).
The statement from the company said that it works on the normalization of coal deliveries and hopes that it will put TENT A units back in operation soon, in order to provide district heating services to nearby Obrenovac. EPS said that it has provided enough electricity for the stable operation of distribution and transmission systems.
