“Gradska toplana” (heating plant) is looking for private partner in construction of facility that will produce electricity and heating energy from biogas.
According to public call a Contract for Public-Private Partnership is planned to be signed. Association for Special Needs will be established, it will be owned by private partner and it will be in charge of project realization.
Like it was planned, public-private partnership will be determined on 25 years’ deadline and private partner will own 75% of total income.
Interested investors can deliver their applications in 90 days’ deadline since the day the public call is announced at the portal for public supplies.
City Administration of Zrenjanin has applied on the PSO-M program that is carried out by the Government of Holland with the project proposal “Agro food industrial waste management”. Realization of the project is jointly carried out by city and “Toplana” (heating plant) and 729.000 EUR is approved for the project on the competition for heating plant equipment. The facility will be constructed by Holland Company “HOST Bio-energy installation”.
