According to Romanian media, Samsung has put for sale its 45 MW solar power plant in Giurgiu in southern Romania, and has already received several offers.
Samsung commissioned the power plant in 2012, after the investment of some 120 million euros.
Samsung operates the solar power plant through its subsidiary LJG Green Source Energy Alpha.
Samsung, namely its subsidiary, is among the companies which sued Romania over the retroactive amendments which significantly decreased agreed incentives for electricity production from renewable energy sources.
